Kenneth, Susan and I discovered a while ago that we have taken what feels like 4 photos this entire year, and determined that this is a complete travesty… what is a year without photographic evidence?! Adding to this the fact that a) many of you have never seen our collected wedding photos and b) Kenneth recently spent a week in IL scanning some pretty amazing family photos that go back to the 1920′s, we decided to dedicate the month of July to photos and invite you all along on the journey. Some pics will be new, some will be old, some may be boring but many will definitely be bold! So join us when you can – we hope to post every few days or more. And remember: this is my first adventure in blogging, so be gentle…

To kick things off, I present to you what happened just shortly after having the “we need to take more pictures” conversation. They’re trying not to show it, but they have beautiful smiles. Enjoy this moment of sibling zen.
